Nine down and nine across; it's The Sun Crossword Challenge

The UK's most popular newspaper crossword comes to the Nintendo DS

London: 22nd October 2007

The UK's best loved newspaper, The Sun, today announces that it will be releasing The Sun Crossword Challenge on the Nintendo DS in Europe this November.

The Sun Crossword Challenge operates like a traditional crossword puzzle but with a twist. Like the daily crossword in The Sun newspaper, each puzzle will have two sets of clues - coffee time with quick clues and cryptic with longer, more brain teasing clues. The game has more than 1000 crossword challenges to test the player's mind.

Using the intuitive game play of the Nintendo DS stylus, the player writes their answers straight onto crossword with the character recognition. If the player gets really stuck, help is at hand with optional hints!

The game will be published by UK publisher Mercury Games and is due for release in November 2007. The SRP will be £19.99.
