The GamesIndustry.biz Careers Fair is a destination where established professionals can scope out their next career move and wannabe developers or games enthusiasts can learn more about securing a place in the industry. At its centre, the Ukie Careers Bar will offer three days worth of insightful talks and one-to-one careers advice workshops.
The quiz is open to all members of the UK games industry, catering for teams of up to five people. Tickets cost £25 per head.Teams will be challenged with multiple rounds of trivia covering current affairs, general knowledge, pop culture, some more obscure but yet to be decided topics, and (of course) video games. Drinks will also be available for those whose intellect is fuelled by alcohol.

Not-for-profit organisation Women in Games Jobs is partnering with Unity to host a mentoring breakfast during Develop:Brighton 2017. The event will introduce attendees to the support available from WIGJ’s on-going mentoring programme and the Unity Gurus. Ticket only, open to both women and men.
It's our 15th birthday, and we're celebrating it at our annual Summer Party in Brighton, UK.
We're being joined by our co-hosts Jagex, Wish Studios and Amiqus for the evening, which takes place on July 12th at Patterns, our Brighton seafront venue - so it's an ideal night out for attendees of the local Develop In Brighton conference (note: this is a separate event).
Tickets are available right here for £35 per person, and includes free drink (all night) and our traditional midnight bacon sarnies. Doors open at 8pm and the party doesn't stop until the early hours of the morning.

Audiogame Jam is a game jam event that challenges participants to make games playable without sight.
It was created with the following goals: to raise awareness of accessibility issues experienced by visually impaired people when playing videogames; to encourage game developer to design their games with inclusivity and accessibility in mind; to highlight the work of sight loss charities in helping visually impaired people access technology.
Games submitted should be playable without sight, relying almost entirely on audio.
