Nearly 100 games compete for Gamelab Indie prize in Barcelona

And we have 20 passes to give away for the show

Gamelab 2016 is shaping up, with nearly 100 local companies registered to compete for the Barcelona event's indie games prize.

The awards ceremony, which covers many other categories as well as the indie section, will take place at a high end ceremony on the second evening of the event. A full list of the indie games in contention can be found here. As part of the show, British development legend David Braben will receive a lifetime achievement award from the Spanish chapter of the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

Taking place from June 29 - July 1 at the Hesperia Tower Hotel, Gamelab represents the highlight of the Spanish industry calendar, attracting speakers from all over the world. This year, Ron Gilbert, Peter Moore, Phil Harrison, Minh Le, David Braben, Jens Bergensten and John Romero lead the list, along with many, many others.

Tickets for the show are available for €170, but we also have 20 tickets to give away to readers, on a non-transferable basis. To win, simply send you answer to the question below to contact @ gamesindustry.biz with the subject heading Gamelab competition. The first 20 correct answers will get a ticket each.
