NCSoft announces Euro launch details for City of Heroes

Massively multiplayer game publisher NCSoft Europe has announced details of its plans for the launch of City of Heroes in this territory, with the critically acclaimed MMORPG title set to arrive on February 4th.

European customers will receive a special deluxe edition of the game, which includes all of the content updates to date, an 88 page comic, and a number of serial codes which unlock special items in the game.

The game will be sold at an SRP of UKP 29.99 (39.99 Euro), and monthly subscriptions will cost UKP 8.99 (12.99 Euro), with discounted rates available for three month and six month subscriptions, at UKP 23.99 (34.99 Euro) and UKP 44.99 (64.99 Euro) respectively.

NCSoft also plans to make the game available to those without access to credit cards, by selling City Of Heroes Game Time Cards, which provide a sixty day subscription for UKP 17.99 (25.99 Euro), through retail outlets.

"The Deluxe edition of City of Heroes is an excellent package that offers tremendous value for money," according to NCSoft Europe COO Sebastian Vidal, "while giving new European players the very latest content updates straight out of the box. We're looking forward to welcoming thousands of new heroes to Paragon City."
