Mumbai, 9th April, 2007: Rounders fans can soon find out where they stand as Nazara Technologies, an innovative mobile games developer, is all set to release Rounder Poker, a mobile game which is inspired from Rounders, the 1998 cult classic movie from Miramax about the underground world of high-stakes poker.
Fans will be able to relive the movie and their favorite quotes and dialogs as they don the role of Mike and take on the underground poker world, and finally reap revenge of the humiliating defeat from the hands of the mad Russian - Teddy KGB. The player is "helped" by Worm and his usual shenanigans like bottom dealing and signaling, as the quest for amassing the dough gets more demanding and calls for a more strategic approach. The Rounders experience is made complete as the players encounter various characters like Petra, Knish, Grama, Professor Petrovsky and get a chance to play poker at the clubs like Chesterfield and the Taj, and, of course, the Judge's Game.
Rounders Poker also features a full fledged multiplayer option for upto 7 players, with features like customizable stakes, chatting, invitations, buddy lists and millions of avatar customizability options.
