Multiplayer action with T-Mobile based on Exit Games Neutron

Hamburg, Germany, 15 February 2005

Multiplayer gaming is one of the hottest trends in the mobile communications community in 2005. Exit Games enables mobile gamers to play against friends around the globe, including chat and connected high score competition. With the launch of Seabattle, T-Mobile now offers one of the first commercially available multiplayer games which can be played across devices and across carriers via GPRS or UMTS.

This innovation has been made possible by the multiplayer software Exit Games Neutron. This multiplayer solution is based on the open industry standard OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) Games Services, co-developed by Exit Games.

For T-Mobile customers, this innovation means, above all, increased gaming pleasure. The large gaming community that Neutron provides, enables users to find friends and new gaming partners.

"Multiplayer games fully leverage the technical capabilities of modern mobile networks," comments Harald Behnke, CEO of Exit Games. "Thanks to our cooperation with partners such as T-Mobile, an ever growing community in Europe will obtain access to this new form of entertainment."

Seabattle is the first title of a series of exciting mobile phone games from international publishers and developers, which will be made multiplayer-capable with Exit Games Neutron. Titles such as Darts, Minipool, Catapults and Brick Challenge are additional challenges for mobile gamers.
