Mobile Gaming Now announces Texas Holdem'

Mobile and PC play-for-free site launched

MGN Technologies, trading as Mobile Gaming Now, has announced the launch of its play-for-free website, which features casual and competitive games that can be played through a PC browser or mobile phone handset.

The first site to feature integrated mobile and PC gameplay in a multi-player poker game, MGN's current featured title is Texas Holdem'. Players can either take part in the games without download via their web browser, or download a simple application to play in the same games via their mobile devices.

"We originally launched the multiplayer Texas Holdem' game for the mobile phone and PC in March of 2005. This is the new version of the game with enhanced features," commented Mobile Gaming Now CEO, Mark Jensen. "Mobile gaming is a USD 2 billion worldwide industry today. More than 25 per cent of 200 million mobile subscribers in the U.S. are playing games on their phones."

New Players can register for a player account via the MGN website, and the company has promised additional functionality as part of an ongoing strategy of increasing risk and reward.

"Soon we're launching our play-for-money site where players can bet and win. Then we'll be launching our play-for-prizes site. It's a 1-2-3 strategy that gives players the opportunity to play for fun, win prizes or compete for money," Jenson Stated.
