Mike Merren Joins Virgin PLAY

Madrid, September the 19th 2007. Virgin PLAY, the Spanish videogame publisher and distributor with offices in Madrid, Portugal and soon to open offices in London has just added Mike Merren to its team as Development Manager of its Virgin PLAY and V.2Play brands.

Currently based at the Company's Madrid office, Merren has worked in the industry for 20 years in various roles from Producer to Development Director. His past collaborations have included working for Microsoft, Virgin Interactive, Acclaim, Crawfish and Climax. He has also worked as an account manager for Sony with EA and Eidos as accounts. Most recently, as Development Manager at NCsoft it was his watchful eye that assisted in securing the exclusive agreement they now hold with Sony.

Virgin PLAY´s next publishing projects include titles such as Donkey Xote, based on the animated film of the same name, which will launch this holiday season as well as the official Real Madrid videogames, which it will publish and distribute worldwide for the next 5 years.
