Midway's Caldwell joins Pacific Beach Digital as CEO

Former director of development joins San Diego team

Mark Caldwell, formerly Midway San Diego's director of development, has joined Pacific Beach Digital as its new CEO.

Caldwell was originally co-founder of New World Computing, and at Midway was responsible for the production of over 20 games including Unreal Tournament III, Rise & Fall: Civilizations at War and Lord of the Rings: Online.

Pacific Beach Digital was founded in 2005 and has worked on a number of Midway projects including the Japanese release of Unreal Tournament III for PS3 and Xbox 360, and Stranglehold and Hour of Victory for PC.
