Masters of Social Gaming Take Over Central Brighton

8th May 2007. Brighton, UK. Relentless Software, aka 'the masters of social gaming', according to Eurogamer.net*, today announced a move into stylish and spacious new offices in central Brighton. The move is designed to house the expanding team behind the multi-million selling Buzz! franchise as it begins work on an unannounced project for PlayStation®3, in addition to games for PlayStation®2.

The new office is almost twice the size of the previous office with over 7000sqft of floor space including a large production floor of over 5000sqft and a café of over 1000sqft.

The studio - listed as the second most successful UK independent studio in the Develop 100** in 2006 - continues to grow from strength to strength with glowing reviews beginning to appear for its next release, Buzz!: The Mega Quiz and a nomination for a prestigious D&AD (Design and Art Direction www.dandad.org) Award to complement its existing BAFTA and Develop accolades.

Andrew Eades, Development Director of Relentless commented, "The new building offers us great space in a great location. We're in the heart of Brighton which is really important to all our staff - the views from the top floor balcony are spectacular." He continued, "We firmly believe in providing an enjoyable working environment that is focused on productivity within a 9-5 day. To date we've proved this works and that great, successful games can be made without a crunch."

David Amor, Creative Director added, "We intend to be in the new offices for some time to come - we're looking to expand gradually and build on the reputation we've gained for producing innovative and social games."

Additionally the studio continues work on its innovative Buzz!: The Schools Quiz based on Key Stage 2 curriculum and designed for use at home and in schools as a enjoyable learning tool for 6-11 year olds.
