Raleigh, NC – December 16, 2009 - Digi Ronin Games today confirmed a January 11, 2010 release for “Mary Kay Andrews: The Fixer Upper”, and announced the start of a special giveaway on the Digi Ronin Games Facebook fan page. Based on the wildly successful novel The Fixer Upper by New York Times bestselling author Mary Kay Andrews, “Mary Kay Andrews: The Fixer Upper” is a hidden object casual game for the PC and Mac. With its colorful, impeccably detailed scenes, charming, cleverly woven story and vividly depicted characters, the game makes its debut just in time to brighten and banish any post-holiday blues. And, for an early start on the fun, players are invited to visit the Digi Ronin Games page on Facebook ( www.facebook.com/DigiRoninGames) for a chance to win a copy of the game plus a copy of the book; look for giveaway details under the “Discussions” tab, and sneak a peek at new screen shots (“Photos”).

“With the holidays fast approaching we’ve been connecting even more with friends on Facebook, so we figured why not have a little ‘Fixer Upper’ fun as well” said Jay Powell, Co-founder of Digi Ronin Games. “Our giveaway is also an excellent forum to find fellow casual gamers and Mary Kay Andrews fans.”

About “Mary Kay Andrews: The Fixer Upper”

In “Mary Kay Andrews: The Fixer Upper”, you will join fledgling lobbyist Dempsey Jo Killebrew, framed for a crime and then fired by her unsavory boss, as she flees the high-powered world of Washington, D.C. for the hilarious surprises of small-town Guthrie, Georgia. Here, the now unemployed Dempsey Jo is tasked by her father with restoring the family’s recently inherited, and definitely fading, Victorian mansion into a real-estate cash cow.

Upon Dempsey Jo’s return to Guthrie, you must guide her through the house renovation process, as well as bring her boss to justice. As you search for items and clues to reveal the story and progress in this hidden object game, you will encounter over 10 “mini-games” based on over 20 scenes from the book, as well as meet characters from the book who will unveil key information and assign important tasks.
