London MCM Expo 2010

Top publishers plan for the MCM Expo.

The first videogames publishers have announced that they will be attending the next London MCM Expo. Nintendo, EA Games, Ubisoft, Tecmo Koei, Capcom and Bandai Namco have all confirmed that they will be giving Expo visitors the chance to get hands-on with their hottest new games and upcoming releases when the show returns to London’s Excel Centre on 29-31 October.

Capcom plans to showcase the eagerly-awaited ‘Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds’ at the London MCM Expo. The console-exclusive crossover fighting game will reunite iconic Marvel and Capcom characters such as Street Fighter’s Ryu, X-Men’s Wolverine, Devil May Cry’s Dante, Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk in a re-envisioned team fighting game for a new generation.

Meanwhile, Namco Bandai have announced that their roster of Expo titles will include new IPs such as tactical action-adventure game ‘Enslaved’ and ‘Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom’, as well as anime-based fighters ‘Dragonball Raging Blast 2’, ‘Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 2’ and ‘DBZ Tenkaichi Tag Team’.

Since opening the London Games Festival back in October 2009, the London MCM Expo has gone from strength to strength when it comes to videogames, attracting top developers from around the globe, holding professional gaming tournaments and hosting world first playthroughs… not to mention setting new Guinness World Records for the largest handheld console party and videogame cosplay gathering.
