Lizards Line-up Confirmed

Today the London Games Festival unveils the panellists for the inaugural Lizards' Lair pitching event. The confirmed lizards are Peter Molyneux, head of Lionhead Studios, Miles Jacobson, studio director at Sports Interactive and Ian Livingstone, creative director of Eidos.

October 3rd will see would be developers and creative geniuses come from out of the wood-work to pitch their game concepts to the lizards. Those daring enough to step into the Lizards' Lair stand to win great prizes including one weeks work experience and possibly the chance to see their gaming ideas come to life.

Whittled down to a shortlist of impressive videogame concepts, members of the public will have to hold their nerve in front of an audience and present what they see as the next Lara, Sonic or Mario.

The event will be chaired by Paul Durrant, director of Dare to be Digital, the premier games creation competition in the UK and will be held at Visit London's headquarters.

People can enter their concept at www.londongamesfestival.co.uk/lizardslairapply.doc and the closing date for submissions is 18th September.

The London Games Festival is the brainchild of publishers association ELSPA and independent developers association Tiga after the London Development Agency's Creative London arm facilitated the two organisations coming together for this event.
