Let The Revolution Begin: PoxNora Skeezick Rebellion Launches

TUCSON, Ariz. - Aug. 29, 2007 - PoxNora, an innovative PC game blending features from collectable card games and tabletop wargaming, has released the Skeezick Rebellion.

This expansion introduces premium users to 80 new runes, a rune crafter, diplomat runes, and a new map that allows users to re-enact the Skeezick Rebellion at the ruined city of Old Valdec. With this new addition to the game, PoxNora will have close to 500 runes in all.

The rune crafter allows users to combine their runes to create different runes. Users can also obtain the diplomat runes, powerful new champions for each faction, through the crafter.

Premium members will be able to play the expansion on Wednesday, August 22. Standard members will be allowed into the expansion one week later.

In preparation for the launch, Octopi is running a contest from now until the expansion release. Players will accumulate points for full-faction ranked games. The point leader for each faction will win a limited edition diplomat.

Octopi's PoxNora allows players to command armies of fantastical creatures, cast spells of devastating power, and summon champions, equipment, relics, and spells to the battlefield. Users begin with a free base set of runes and have access to the pack store on the PoxNora website in order to expand their options. Booster packs contain 10 random runes ($3.00), starter packs 30 runes ($8.50), and mega packs 100 runes ($25.00). It is the player's decision to expand their rune set or simply strategize with the runes they are provided for free when they register to play.

PoxNora will be introducing and demonstrating the expansion to the public at this year's GenCon Indy. More than 1.1 million players have signed up to play PoxNora in the game's first full year. For more information, visit www.PoxNora.com.
