British development group Kuju Entertainment has announced that its most recently established studio is set to expand, with the Brighton studio planning to specialise on "Lifestyle" titles for the mass market.

The studio, which was opened last summer, is set to move into a larger office space within its existing building as it hires a number of new staff, bringing its total staffing level to 40.

The team will be rebranded as Kuju Lifestyle, with a planned focus on mass market game genres such as dancing, singing and fitness titles, which have proved hugely successful in the past few years thanks to games such as Dancing Stage and SingStar.

"It's been a great start for the studio and the team are all looking forward to what is set to be a very busy 2005," according to studio manager Ed Daly. "We can't talk about our new titles publicly yet but we would encourage talented staff from all development disciplines to get in touch as we have some very exciting projects in the pipeline."
