Konami latest to commit to Eurogamer Expo

Def Jam Rapstar, Castlevania, Saw II for October event

Konami has become the latest publisher to commit to this October's Eurogamer Expo, taking place at Earl's Court in London.

The publisher will be taking playable code of Castlevania: Lord of Shadows, Saw II: Flesh & Blood and latest signing Def Jam Rapstar to the event, which this year will accommodate 20,000 gamers.

"It's great to have Konami on board with such a fantastic line up, particularly one that demonstrates the eclectic mix of games that will be on show and, most importantly, playable," said Rupert Loman, MD of Eurogamer.

Sony has already pledged support to the event and will be bringing along a wide range of PlayStation 3 games, including 3D and Move titles.

The Eurogamer Expo will also feature the GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair, with Crytek, Relentless, Rare, Sports Interactive, Creative Assembly and Mind Candy already signed up to talk to students, graduates and those looking for their next move in the games business.

Taking place October 1-3, more details can be found at the official Expo website.
