Koch Media has signed a new deal to distribute software titles from Sony Online Entertainment in EMEA territories.

The agreement will give Koch the right to distribute hit MMO Everquest and the back catalogue of expansion packs for the game, plus forthcoming title Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

"Our cooperation with Sony Online Entertainment began some months ago with Planetside Invasion," said Koch MD Craig McNicol.

"We managed to affirm the trust placed in us, and we are now proud of the opportunity to market Everquest 2 and Vanguard for Sony Online Entertainment. We firmly believe in the future of the MMO genre."

SOE's Laura Naviaux described Koch as a "triple-A retail partner", adding, "It has the experience with major PC game brands like Everquest II and understands the unique nature of MMOs."
