Free version of the iPhone racer comes out of the pits.
Wednesday, 15th July 2009…. Nalin Sharma, the award-winning game designer behind PuzzleKings, is delighted to announce the immediate world-wide availability of the Free version of Killer Edge on the AppStore for iPhone and iPod Touch.
Killer Edge is a rip-roaring racing game where players can nudge, smash and swerve their way to the front of the race across a variety of tracks featuring incredible inclines, crazy curves and soaring straights. By popular request the controls have now been updated in which will make the cars easier to drive for players – tilt sensitivity can now be adjusted.
The free version has the first two exciting tracks to play in Quick Race mode on the Easy game setting, and most importantly players can try all of the 12 different cars to find the one that gives them the fastest lap times. “This feature is totally unique amongst racing games on the iPhone and provides players with lots of free gameplay and plenty of reasons to keep returning to this game.” said Nalin Sharma.
In the first few days since launch Killer Edge Free has clocked up nearly 20,000 downloads and accounted for over 2000 hours worth of game time – all with no previous publicity.
Meanwhile the full version of Killer Edge is now on sale for 99 cents or 59p as a promotion for a limited time only. This provides access to all nine game tracks, Bronze, Silver and Gold Cups, Medium and Hard difficulty settings, Time Attack Mode and players can race their favourite cars whenever they want.
