Killer 7 headed for worldwide launch this summer

It appears that GameCube title Killer 7, Capcom's split personality action game, will be released worldwide at roughly the same time this summer.

Capcom has previously confirmed a 7th June US launch date, while Capcom's European press website now lists the game for release on 24th June and the game is now set for a "summer" release in Japan.

Originally due out back in late 2003, Killer 7 - produced by Resident Evil and Devil May Cry creator Shinji Mikami and written by dev studio Michigan's Goichi Suda - sees the player taking control of seven unique assassins split from the mind of a wheelchair-bound chap in a suit.

It's also framed very nicely thanks to a stylish cel-shading-without-outlines approach that gives the game a very unusual look.

Apart from the GameCube version, Capcom is also planning a PS2 version at some point, although there's no word just yet on when we can expect to see that emerge.
