Publisher of Official Xbox Magazine and Nintendo Power at Future US.

South San Francisco, CA (March 31, 2008) – Kelley Corten has been named publisher of Official Xbox Magazine and Nintendo Power magazine for Future US, a leading publisher of cutting-edge special interest magazines and websites.

Official Xbox Magazine and Nintendo Power are the leading publications for their respective console brands.

Corten comes from a strong international sales background and has launched and managed a variety of highly profitable products.

A native Californian, Corten had been living and working for Future Publishing Ltd. in England since 2000. While there, she was the group publisher for the Computing and Photography portfolio. Corten launched Digital Camera magazine into a crowded category of 18 publications, and it’s now grown to become the #3 title with 59% year-to-year ad growth rate. She also grew the CD Photographer of Year contest from a small parochial magazine competition to the largest European photography face-off.

Corten also supervised more than a dozen consumer magazines and web sites, including Photo Plus, Photography Focus Guides, Computer Arts, 3D World, MacFormat, PC Answers, PC Plus, PC Format, Linux Format, What Laptop, Digital Video, and techradar.com.

Before joining Future Publishing Ltd., Corten was the publisher for the Cheltenham and Gloucester “Independent” newspaper.
