JoWood Productions And Metaboli Start Cooperation
Liezen, Austria, 6th of March 2007; JoWooD Productions announces the signing of an agreement with Metaboli. From now on, the leading European Games-On-Demand supplier will offer selected JoWooD titles for download.
Metaboli is distributing games in France, Germany, UK, Canada, and Italy, while preparing the expansion into Spain and Scandinavia. The focus of Metaboli and JoWooD is set on the two most successful types of online distribution:
Buy & Download: A title is offered as a full version at the usual retail price. The end user buys the game and gets it via download within a very short period of time, depending on the internet connection. Weekends, holidays and closed stores are in the past!
Games on Demand: A classic subscription can be started and cancelled anytime. The user chooses between a starter pack with about 100 games for 9,90 and a premium pack with the late st top titles, offered for 19,90. After successful login, the player is entitled to use all the games offered without limitation and additional costs.
JoWooD Productions and Metaboli intent to offer the latest JoWooD games online i.e. The Guild 2, The Guild 2 AddOn, Gothic 3, SpellForce 2, as well as JoWooD's back-cat titles (Giant series, SOLDNER).
