JinkyPOP

Challenge players worldwide to online word duels.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

April 15, 2009 (Dallas, TX) – Dallas-based Blockdot has released “JinkyPOP,” a fast-paced word duel that lets players around the world face off against each other!

Start the game by clicking on the name of a player in the challenger list, or simply click “play now” and the game will automatically match you with another player. Your goal in “JinkyPOP” is to score points by making words with letters on the game board. Different letters have different point values, and the more letters you use in a word, the more points you earn!

Begin play by clicking (or typing) the letters you wish to select from the “jinky wheel,” and watch as they fall into your letter tray. Build your word, verify it by clicking the double-arrow button, and collect your points! Players alternate turns through each round. In the final round, players form one last word; the more letters you use in words throughout the game, the fewer letters you have in your “final round letter bank.” Whoever has the most points at the end of the game wins the “JinkyPOP” crown!

After playing “JinkyPOP,” users can post scores to a nationwide leader board and send challenge emails through the game’s send-a-friend email system.
