JGOware Announces RetroBlast, Old School Vector Style Shooter With Easy To Control Mouse Play

For Immediate Release

June 20th, 2006

JGOware has released version 1.0 of RetroBlast, a PC based 2D old school retro vector style shoot-em-up game. In this game, the player has to contend with massive amounts of "retronauts" that have one goal in mind, to stop the player from destroying them. Using only the PC mouse (which makes the game suitable for the casual gamer), the player can move and fire in both 360 degrees. Game play at times can be incredibly fast paced but ultimately satisfying due to the increased fire power available at higher levels.

The latest version of RetroBlast features such distinctive functionality as:

  • Highly addictive game play spread out over 100 levels;
  • Retro like graphics and special effects;
  • Easy-to-learn and silky smooth game controls;
  • Professional retro music tracks and sound effects;
  • Local and global high score list;
  • Old school "blasts from the past" challenge levels.

RetroBlast runs under Windows XP/98/ME operating systems and costs $9.95 (USD). The evaluation version of the game that allows gamers to play up to 18 levels, can be downloaded free of charge at http://jgofiles.com/download/retroblast.exe
