AIOMI, the Italian Association for the Interactive Multimedia - Movement for the Videogame Culture ( www.aiomi.it), is proud to announce the third edition of the Italian Videogame Developers Conference, the first and only Italian Congress dedicated to Game Development.

The IVDC will be held on 3rd and 4th of December 2010, in the Conference Hall of the LUISS Guido Carli - Free International University of Social Studies in Rome which, thanks to the partnership with Confindustria, is a perfect location to welcome the summit of the group of the Italian Videogame Developers in Assoknowledge / Confindustria.

The IVDC 2010 has the Patronization of the Minister of the Youth, Giorgia Meloni, who has already shown her interest in the importance of the development of the videogame industry in Italy and of the visibility of these products on the international market. In addition, it has the support of Confindustria, because it is the official event of the Group of the Italian Game Developers in Assoknowledge. Last but not least, it has an important partnership with Zètema Progetto Cultura and with the City of Rome, in order to offer to the Italian game developers a unique place to meet and exchange knowledge and know-how, here in Italy.

“For the third edition of the IVDC, AIOMI chose to move to Rome in order to be nearer to the institution and bring to their attention the excellence of the Italian game development”, says Marco Accordi Rickards, director and chairman of the IVDC. “The LUISS University is one of the most important and prestigious in Europe, the perfect location for an event like the IVDC which, more and more, is increasing its international dimension”.

The only official language of the IVDC 2010 will be English. A free service of translation from English into Italian will be available on request.
