Ink Media handling public relations for regional industry body.

Dundee - Wednesday, 01 April 2009 Interactive Tayside has today announced its new media partner, Edinburgh-based media relations consultancy, Ink Media. Owned by award-winning games columnist Dave Cook, the 'next-gen public relations consultancy' caters exclusively for the UK video game and digital media industries.

Continuing its trend of supporting established and emerging digital media talent across Scotland, Interactive Tayside are encouraging any company seeking public relations assistance to get in touch. From graphic artists and digital marketing consultancies, to game developers and web designers, Interactive Tayside and Ink Media would like to hear from you.

Donna Fordyce, Project Manager of Interactive Tayside said: " The digital media community in Tayside is largely made up of small companies who do not have the inhouse expertise to produce press releases and cannot afford to pay agencies to produce these for them. The initiative comprises a partnership between public, private and academic sectors to develop and promote Tayside's digital media industry. It has created a unique platform, unique in Scotland, for anyone involved in digital media to collaborate, pool ideas and offer academic support and business advice.

Ink Media adds Interactive Tayside to its growing roster of clients, which includes BAFTA award-winning mobile developer Dynamo Games, Car Jack Streets developer Tag Mobile, Outerlight, developers of The Ship: Murder Party and Scotland's first video game magazine SquareGo. Since launching in February 2009, the company has become a first point of contact for many digital media companies across Scotland.
