Britain's Benjamin "DeMusliM" Baker one of just two non-Asian contenders next month in Chengdu, China.

Benjamin „DeMusliM” Baker from Nottingham only one of two Non-Asian participants at Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Chengdu, China – $65,000 for the world's best computer gamers – Dell sponsors the fourth season of the global league of eSports champions.

Cologne, September 22nd 2009 – Benjamin „DeMusliM“ Baker qualified for the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge in Chengdu, China from October 1st to 3rd. The 19-year-old from Nottingham is one of only two Non-Asian qualifiers for the discipline Warcraft 3. During the qualifier the Human-Player was able to beat Korean professionals such as Park Chul „Shy“ Woo or the German top player Daniel „ixi“ Spenst. The world's best computer gamers will compete for a total prize money of $65,000 in the disciplines Counter-Strike 1,6, Warcraft 3 and DotA.

The Intel Extreme Masters is a series of competitions for eSports champions of over 35 countries from 5 continents, with a total prize purse of $500,000. The fourth season features two Global Challenges, three Continental Championships: in Asia, Europe and the Americas and will culminate with the Intel® Extreme Masters World Championship at CeBIT 2010 with the very best teams and players of each Continental Championship participating.

Dell sponsors the fourth season of the Intel Extreme Masters by ESL. It is the third year of Dell sponsorship in the Intel Extreme Masters.
