Infogrames shares rocket on Namco deal
Stock jumps by a fifth as sale of Distribution Partners is brought forward

Shares in publisher Infogrames/Atari have rocketed since the news earlier today that the company was to bring forward the sale of its majority stake in Distribution Partners to Namco Bandai.
The stock jumped by almost 20 per cent across the day to finish at EUR 4.28, with investors clearly reassured that the company's actions will enable it to focus on its online content plan.
Distribution Partners was valued at around EUR 60 million, and Atari's two-thirds is expected to be sold in the next four months.
