NEW YORK, August 24, 2010 -- Inc. magazine today announced that PlaySpan, the undisputed global market leader in the monetization platform category, has been named as a top 1,000 company in its fourth annual Inc. 5000, an exclusive ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies.
The news arrives on the heels of last week’s announcement that PlaySpan has secured an $18 million series C round of funding from leading investors. The new capital increased the company's total funding to approximately $42 million, which will be used to further expand into Europe and Asia and grow PlaySpan's global publisher and user-base.
