IN-FUSIO Reinforces Its Position As Global Leader In The Mobile Entertainment Market With Its Second Strategic Acquisition In A Week

IN-FUSIO Acquires Leading German Mobile Games Publisher, Mobile Scope

Bordeaux, France - February 1, 2005 - IN-FUSIO, a leading mobile games publisher and game service provider, today underlined its position as an elite publisher with the announcement of its acquisition of German mobile

games publisher Mobile Scope.

IN-FUSIO's latest acquisition, which gives it access to Mobile Scope's catalogue of top games titles*, comes a week after it bought the US games publisher Thumbworks and is consistent with current corporate strategy.

The deal, for an undisclosed amount, means that Mobile Scope will assume a key role in IN-FUSIO's global mobile games business by providing access to its entire range of high quality products and publishing services. Mobile Scope will be integrated into IN-FUSIO's publishing division. Mobile Scope's former CEO Jürgen Goeldner is now IN-FUSIO Executive Vice President of Publishing.

The deal further strengthens IN-FUSIO's position both in Europe and globally and takes the number of IN-FUSIO's employees, who are based in all major markets (Europe, Asia and the USA), to 230.

IN-FUSIO Co-CEO Giles Corbett said: "In six years, IN-FUSIO has become one of the world's top three mobile game publishers and has built a unique position in connected mobile game services. Just after the purchase of Thumbworks, the acquisition of Mobile Scope perfectly matches our strategy to deliver entertaining content for mobile phones and services dedicated to players' communities. The outstanding quality of the Mobile Scope team, and its experience in the management of third-party developers, are major assets that will play a key role in IN-FUSIO's continued development."

The acquisition extends IN-FUSIO's already impressive games portfolio, which now includes even more mobile games titles based on blockbuster films and classic PC game formats. Mobile Scope has licensing agreements to produce Die Hard, as well as Ice Age, which is based on the CGI smash hit from Twentieth Century Fox. Allied to this are IN-FUSIO's top entertainment titles including ones based on Comedy Central's South ParkTM, Universal Studios' E.TTM and Jurassic Park IIITM, Eidos' Tomb Raider, as well as the recently released The TerminatorTM: I'm Back title. Last week's acquisition of Thumbworks brought the US-based company's portfolio, including the top titles Around the World in 80 Days and Suzuki Motocross Challenge, under the IN-FUSIO umbrella.

IN-FUSIO Executive Vice President of Publishing Jürgen Goeldner said: "Being part of the IN-FUSIO group, and having access to its technologically advanced resources and high quality platforms, will allow us to realise our vision of publishing games for mobile devices on an even broader scale. This transaction highlights our dedication to growth and augmentation of products and services as the two combined companies maintain the group's leading position in the global mobile entertainment market."
