In-Fusio expands US operation with Thumbworks acquisition

International mobile games publisher In-Fusio has announced that it has acquired US firm Thumbworks, a smaller publisher of games and applications for mobile phones, extending the company's reach in North America significantly.

The deal will see former Thumbworks president Craig Holland taking over as managing director of In-Fusio in the USA, with a brief to continue building on the company's strong ties with North American carriers, developers and licensors.

"The merger is a definitive step for expanding In-Fusio's publishing expertise and technological capabilities," according to In-Fusio president and co-CEO Gilles Raymond, "positioning the company as a leading mobile entertainment entity in North America."

"Thumbworks' assets help to complete In-Fusio's ability to better deliver a wide variety of mobile applications, beyond our existing portfolio of cutting edge games," he concluded.
