Plus what's hitting retail this week

Each week, GamesIndustry.biz brings you a round-up of all the games announced over the last five days, plus a guide to what's arriving at retail this weekend.

It's been a busy week for Sony, with the company's Gamers Day in the US revealing a batch of new titles for its lead formats.

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is a new PS3 title from Naughty Dog, designed to be the first in a fast-paced adventure franchise from the Jak & Daxter developers.

Also revealed for the PS3 was SOCOM: Confrontation, the latest title in Sony's tactical war sim developed by Slant Six Games and due in November.

Devil May Cry creator Yoshiki Okamoto is contributing Folklore to the PS3, a single player fantasy adventure under development at Game Republic.

The PSP will see Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow later this year, along with Bigbig Studios racing sequel Pursuit Force: Extreme Justice and God of War: Chains of Olympus.

RPG specialist Square Enix has announced its first next-generation, multiplatform title. The Last Remnant is due for PS3 and Xbox 360 is promised a simultaneous launch in Japan and North America.

Meanwhile, the company has dated DS title Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales for May 25 in Europe, with GBA game Final Fantasy VI Advance due on June 27.

Capcom has revealed new Wii game Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaro's Treasure. The title is a Wii-exclusive with a release date yet to be announced.

Koei will release Atelier Iris 3: Grand Phantasm in Europe this summer. The title, from Japanese developer Gust, will be released on PlayStation 2 this July.

Rockstar San Diego is working on the fourth title in racing series Midnight Club. Midnight Club: Los Angeles is due for Xbox 360 and PS3 in early 2008.

Majesco is to publish DS squad-based shooter Operation: Vietnam. The title is developed by Coyote Console and due worldwide this autumn.

Nintendo has a sequel to the multi-million selling Brain Training in the works. More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old is Your Brain? will be released in Europe on June 27.

Konami has dated it's PSP and PC title Marvel Trading Card Game for release on May 31 in Europe. A DS version will arrive in July.

Activision has unveiled it's latest Tony Hawk's title. Tony Hawk's Proving Ground will be a multiplatform release from developer Neversoft, due later this year.

LucasArts has revealed that Rebellion is working on PSP title Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron.

Sierra Entertainment has announced Crash of the Titans for multiple platforms. The long-running Crash Bandicoot character will return this autumn on Wii, Xbox 360, PS2, DS and PSP.

The most notable new release this week's is Activision's PlayStation 3 release of Spider-Man 3, joined by a pair of PlayStation 2 titles: SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Combined Assault and SBK-07 Superbike World Championship.

Hand-held gamers can pick up Eidos' Pony Friends and 505 Games' MinDStorm on DS, or Rising Star Games' Harvest Moon: Innocent Life on PSP.

There's also a handful of PC titles released today, including Xider's Bone: Out from Bonesville, Bone: the Great Cow Race and Ankh: Heart of Osiris.
