IGNITION ENTERTAINMENT ANNOUNCES BOARD LEVEL CHANGES

Archer Maclean Resigns Position as Creative Director; Awesome Studios Continues Development On Next-Gen Formats

Friday 22 July 2005/... Ignition Entertainment has announced that Creative Director Archer Maclean has resigned from the company with immediate effect. Ignition Entertainment's development division Awesome Studios will continue developing ground-breaking titles on next-generation formats exclusively for the publisher.

Ignition Entertainment retains all intellectual property rights to past and future Awesome Studios titles, and projects in development will continue unaffected. A new management team is being installed which will continue driving the interactive entertainment medium forward through ground-breaking titles such as Archer Maclean's Mercury, which is scheduled for European launch for PlayStation Portable on September 1st 2005.

"Whilst Archer was the spokesperson for Awesome Studios, there's a 28-strong team in currently in place and Ignition Entertainment will continue to offer the development outfit creative and commercial support for its forthcoming titles," comments Vijay Chadha, Managing Director, Ignition Entertainment. "We're confident that the Awesome Studios team will continue to produce games which will excite, challenge and delight next-generation videogames players.

"In addition, we look forward to unveiling the new management team at Awesome Studios. Ignition Entertainment remains the exclusive European partner of SNK Japan, and has a number of additional unannounced next-generation titles in development. More details on these will be unveiled soon.

Archer Maclean's Mercury will be published by Ignition Entertainment for PSP on September 1st 2005, distributed exclusively throughout the UK, France and Germany by Atari.
