I-play tees off with NYC Urban Golf

New sports title to launch shortly

I-play has announced the launch of its latest mobile title, NYC Urban Golf, tasking mobile gamers with swinging their clubs in the centre of the ultimate 24-hour city - switching fairways for freeways and driving would be golfers towards an inner city course where destruction and mayhem score big,.

Gameplay takes place in the heart of New York City, where players must chip the ball around city blocks, skim the skulls of pedestrians and score maximum points by knocking over trash cans, blowing up gas canisters, breaking windows and generally creating chaos on the streets of the Big Apple.

The mayhem points system means maximum destruction - created with style and panache of course - will take out the competition from rival gangs, impress the ladies who love a winner and secure the title of ultimate Urban Golf Champion in the City Tournament.

Each new hole challenges gamers to hit a specific target - ranging from billboards to bins, people to police cars - with points awarded for accuracy as well as urban damage created in the process.

The game is set over three environments: Downtown, Docks and Industrial. Each location will present a new challenge, all of which fit into the gradually unravelling storyline as players compete to rule the inner city streets.

NYC Urban Golf will be available shortly through I-play's extensive distribution network.
