HeroCraft Announces Three New Games
“Black Shark”, “Governator: Unleashed Power” and “Sky Corsairs” to be released in the first quarter of 2005.
HeroCraft, a well-known indie developer of games for mobile phones will release three new projects in the first quarter of 2005. The three games are Black Shark, Governator: Unleashed Power and Sky Corsairs. The games are expected to be completed before spring.
Black Shark is a new shooter with a Russian "specnaz" (special forces) officer as the main character. The game takes place on a remote island, where a mad dictator holds his family hostage, while mining uranium to develop weapons of mass destruction. In order to save his family, the officer had to highjack a KA-50 helicopter, known as "Black Shark", hence the name of the game. But, as it turns out, destroying the base of dictator is a difficult task. The game is the side-view arcade shooter where player need to control military helicopter.
The second game - Governator: Unleashed Power - is a sequel to Governator, an extremely popular action game estimated to be installed on over half a million cell phones worldwide. In Governator, a robotic cyborg, controlled by the player, is on a mission to destroy terrorist's underground plant that produces poisons and robots, in order to install new world order. The game follows in the footsteps of the original Governator and offers excellent graphics and engaging, challenging gameplay.
Sky Corsairs is a "flight fighter" co-developed by HeroCraft and M-Alliance, a young Russian game development company. Both companies decided to create something highly unusual and creative. In Sky Corsairs, player has to pilot a funky "flying vessel" and destroy opponents by hitting opponents balloons with own ship. The game requires quite a bit of dexterity and quick thinking.
