HB Studios is expanding operations by opening a new development studio in Halifax, Canada.

HB Studios is expanding operations by opening a new development studio in Halifax, Canada.

The team has recently completed work on NBA Live 08 for Electronic Arts, and currently has five projects in development at its Lunenburg headquarters

"We are at capacity in our Lunenburg HQ so the creation of this new studio provides us with the necessary space to take on further development opportunities and also gives us access to another recruitment option in the broader region," commented Jeremy Wellard, president of HB Studios.

The new outfit will open in January with 20 staff beginning work on two projects.
