HandyGames ranking

One of 2008's top ten games publishers, according to MobileGamesDb.com.

Giebelstadt, 21st of January 2008

MobileGamesDb.com has released the annual statistic for mobile games 2008 today. In the course of this the best publishers for mobile games were also announced: Handy Games™ came to the sixth place in the annual chart for 2008.

The statistic is based on reviews from independent games websites such as ProjectNext, PocketGamer, AirGamer, Midlet-Review, MobilGamer, PiratesXXL, WGWorld, MovilGamers, FonePlay, and MobileGameFaqs. MobileGamesDb.com evaluates all game reviews published there and so draws up the ranking.

With the position in the TOP10, HandyGames™ confirms the company's development of the whole last year. During 2008 all games could achieve constantly high ratings. "The significance of this rating is all the more important knowing that HandyGames™ was releasing over 20 titles in the past year. These include a lot of innovative and experimental formats like Bridge Bloxx or Dynamite Fishing", said HandyGames™ CEO Markus Kassulke.

Jan Rezab, Founder of MobileGamesDb.com, also commented the HandyGames™ rank: „HandyGames™ has always been one of the best independent publishers on the mobile games market, we are happy they made it to the TOP10 and congratulate them.“

Furthermore, Christopher Kassulke, HandyGames™ CEO, sees a confirmation of the high potential HandyGames™ has in the mobile market: "This sixth place records not only our company's effort in the past year. The difference of just 0.4 percent to the fifth placed company shows how close all market participants are at the top. Our whole team will take this as an incentive to create even better and more innovative mobile games in 2009 and so to launch an offensive on the TOP5."
