Hands-On Mobile launches LEGO World Soccer

Latest in a series of LEGO licensed mobile games from Kiloo

Hands-On Mobile has announced LEGO World Soccer, a novel twist on the traditional game of football which offers gamers a choice of themed LEGO teams and a host of arcade style power-ups and extras to add a little extra something to the competitive spirit.

Quite unlike any game of football played before, the game features LEGO characters from either the space, pirate, arctic or construction universe, and each team has its own unique ability set, such as the astronauts being able to fly around the pitch and save their little plastic legs.

There are five unique teams and five different pitches to play on, each with their own special terrain and secret features to uncover and take advantage of. In addition, the game includes a series of power-ups and special items to throw the match in your favour, as well as a "normal mode" for those who genuinely seek a casual kick-about with the plastic people.

Multiple play modes include World Cup and Friendly will add further longevity to the title, which is now available through Hands-On's extensive distribution network.

LEGO World Soccer is developed by Danish mobile specialists Kiloo. The company has secured the rights to create, develop and publish mobile products using the LEGO license, and further titles are expected over the coming months.

For further insight into Kiloo's history, current and future ambitions, check back this week for part one of our interview with recently appointed EVP of sales and marketing, Karl Woods.
