Glu Launches Chu Chu Rocket! On Mobile

SEGA'S ICONIC CAT AND MOUSE PUZZLE GAME MAKES ITS DEBUT ON MOBILE PHONES

London, May 25, 2006 - Glu Mobile, a leading creator and global publisher of mobile entertainment, today announced the launch of SEGA's ultimate puzzle game, Chu Chu Rocket! Chu Chu Rocket! will be available from all European network operators beginning in May 2006.

The mobile version of Chu Chu Rocket! was originally created by the Sonic team at SEGA for the Dreamcast and was later developed for the Game Boy Advance, establishing the game as a favourite among a vast fan base.

Players must successfully guide space mice (ChuChus) through treacherous space ports infested with preying cats (KapuKapus), using all your rescue skills to avoid peril by leading your ChuChus to the safety of escape rockets. Chu Chu Rocket! includes over 100 puzzle levels that stretch the skills of even the biggest Chu Chu fans and multiple modes of play including:

· Run Away - avoid the cat and get to the goal.
· Get Mice - lead all the mice to the goal
· Lunchtime - lead the mice to the cats
· 100 Mice - collect 100 mice within a time limit and avoid collecting cats!
· Cat Soccer - Lead cats to your opponent's rockets

"The success of Chu Chu Rocket! on Dreamcast and Game Boy Advance has demonstrated the game's wide appeal," said Kristian Segerstråle, Managing Director, EMEA, Glu Mobile. "Chu Chu Rocket! is a perfect fit for the mobile platform, and fans of the console title and mobile gamers new to the title alike will be drawn to the fast-paced game play and addictive puzzle action that has made the title a hit."

"Glu has proved to be incredibly successful in the translation of SEGA's original console games onto the mobile platform," stated Darren Newnham, Business Development Manager, SEGA Europe. "The appearance of Chu Chu Rocket from console to the wireless platform has been hugely successful in keeping with the addictive puzzle nature of the game.
