George Bray appointment

Former Fuel Industries and MumboJumbo man to support the Blitz 1UP indie games initiative.

27 MAY 2010 LEAMINGTON SPA, UK Blitz 1UP, an initiative run by UK developer Blitz Games Studios, announces the appointment of George Bray to bolster their already successful team. With over 20 years' industry experience at companies including Fuel Industries and MumboJumbo, George will be taking the role of Business Development Manager.

The Blitz 1UP initiative was launched in 2008 by Blitz Games Studios as an outlet for small, independent teams to bring their titles to market, offering support all the way from concept to submission. With George Bray's help, Blitz 1UP is pushing to maximise the sales of their titles - both digital and boxed - across the world.

George Bray and the Blitz 1UP team will be attending E3 from June 13-17. Developers interested in meeting to discuss further opportunities should email: blitz1UP@blitzgamesstudios.com.

"I'm delighted that George is joining the Blitz 1UP team. With his veteran status in the industry and encyclopaedic knowledge of games I'm certain that he will be tremendous at maximising the distribution of our catalogue," says Blitz 1UP's Business Development Director, Chris Swan.

Adds George Bray: "This is a great opportunity as I've worked with many (indie) developers over the years and to give them a voice via the Blitz 1UP scheme is an exciting prospect. We're really looking forwards to opening even more doors for both developers and publishers."
