GCDC Supports GC Asia Conference

GC Developers Conference (GCDC)

(August 20-22, 2007)

Leipzig, Germany - May 15, 2007

The GC Developers Conference, Europe's leading conference for game developers, is supporting the first ever GC Asia Conference (GCAC) in Singapore. The platform for game developers is devoted to the Asian developer branch and will be taking place alongside the GC Asia (Games Convention Asia) from September 6th to 7th.

Frank Sliwka, Project Director of GCDC, puts it as follows: "The GCAC is a fantastic opportunity to promote communication between developers and publishers in Asia and Europe, as well as to boost knowledge transfer. Using our know-how, we plan to help the conference establish itself as the most important developer platform in Asia."

Co-organizer of GC Asia and GCAC is Leipziger Messe International (LMI) GmbH, a subsidiary of Leipziger Messe GmbH. "The GC Asia exhibition in conjunction with the GCAC conference is the perfect environment for consolidating the Asian Pacific growth market for interactive entertainment, infotainment, edutainment and hardware, as well as building and strengthening business relations and getting to know Asian culture a little better," explains Jörg Zeissig, General Manager of LMI.

The GCAC and GC Asia will be held at the Suntec Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Centre. The conference program includes international lectures and workshops on current and up-and-coming topics in the games industry, with a focus on Asian themes.

Moreover, participants will be shown various ways of entering the Asian and European market. An overview of the topics to be dealt with at the conference is available at www.gc-asia.sg.
