GCDC Offers Online Participant List

GC Developer Conference (GCDC)

(21 to 23 August 2006)

LEIPZIG, GERMANY - AUGUST 10, 2006 - For the first time, GCDC, the leading European developer conference, is giving participants the opportunity for inclusion on the event's participant list, viewable on the GCDC website ( www.gcdc-germany.com). Entry is made when registering, and is completely voluntary. Details available for public viewing include, company listing, first name, last name and job title. Interested parties can obtain information about trade registrants by accessing the attendee section of the site. The goal of the list is to help attendees plan their stay more efficiently and strengthen their contact list.

Thus far, the platform has been well-received, which has been indicated by the large number of participants already registered. The successful establishment of the online registration function is a stepping-stone to creating additional time-saving services, which will be offered by the GCDC next year.

"It is nice to see our participants and speakers enjoy annual trips to the GCDC, and that a number of them have become friends out of these events," said Frank Sliwka, project manager at GCDC. "Face-to-face contact is of great significance, with both trust and emotion playing significant roles in creating business opportunities.
