GCDC Announces More Top Speakers

Leipzig, Germany - July 12, 2007 - The GC Developers Conference (GCDC) today announced more top speakers for this year's program. GCDC is Europe's most important platform for developers and takes place at the Leipziger Messe, August 20-22, 2007.

"The GCDC advisory board is working hard to ensure attendees have the best possible speaker line-up," said Frank Sliwka, director of GCDC. "The addition of more top development, business, programming, and scientific lectures and panels will make GCDC 2007 a development conference not to be missed."

Confirmed are Michael Capps (USA), president of Epic Games, and a member of the IGDA Board of directors, and Mark Rein (USA), vice president of Epic Games. Epic Games has created multiple million-selling, award-winning titles in their Unreal ® series and their latest game, Gears of War ® , broke sales records on Xbox 360 TM selling more than 3 million copies worldwide in the first ten weeks.

Additional new speakers include John Smedley, Sony Online Entertainment (USA); Mark Morris, Introversion Software (UK); Ken Ralston, Big Huge Games (USA); Cathy Campos, Panache (UK); Doug Whatley, Break Away (USA); Ute Palmer-Horn, Koch Media (Germany), and George Bain (UK).

GCDC 2006 retrospective
