GC: Simpsons, Spider-Man branded PSP's for Europe

Sony has announced two limited edition PSP bundles specifically for Europe, featuring Spider-Man and The Simpsons branding.

"We are delighted to announce the arrival of the newly designed PSP to the SCEE region, whilst also providing something unique and special for our consumers," said David Reeves, president of SCEE.

Retailing at EUR 199.99, the Spider-Man bundle with feature red and black branding, the Spider-Man 3 movie on UMD and a copy of Activision's Spider-Man 3 game.

The Simpsons bundle will also be priced EUR 199.99, feature yellow branding and come with a copy of Electronic Arts' The Simpsons Game.

The PSP Slim will retail for EUR 169.99 and go on sale September 5 across Europe.

It comes in three colours, is 33 per cent lighter and 19 per cent thinner, and features a video-out port.

As well as new gaming bundles, Sony has also used the Games Convention event to reveal more details on the PSP's TV on-demand, satellite navigation and instant messaging services.
