GC Asia attracts 92,000 attendees

Tandem two-day conference sees 630 games industry professionals at Singapore event

Leipziger Messe International, the organiser of GC Asia and GC Asia Conference, has revealed that its consumer event in Singapore drew in more than 92,000 game enthusiasts from the Asia-Pacific region.

Held at the Suntec Singapore Exhibition & Convention Centre, 118 exhibitors from 13 countries presented themselves. Attendees at the event saw the latest games as well as a number of world-premiere product launches.

"GCA is the premiere event for the games industry in the Asia-Pacific region and this year’s show presented some of the hottest titles for the next 12 months," said Wolfgang Marzin, president and CEO of the Leipziger Messe. "We've been extremely impressed with the turnout and look forward to continued success next year."

It was also revealed that more than 630 industry professionals attended the two-day long GC Asia Conference. Attendees from over 20 different nations attended, to listen to more than 70 industry experts discus the dominant topics of today’s game industry.
