Casual games update allows users to acces the Minigame Pavilion.

Berkeley, CA - July 7, 2009 - MindFuse, a leading independent developer of online casual virtual worlds, today announced that Gatheryn's Casual Games Update is now live. The Casual Games Update includes the addition of two major features, the Minigame Pavilion, a carnival where Elymia’s best casual minigames are on display for everyone to enjoy, and Word Safari, a series of location-based puzzles where players find special objects and match words according to their specific role and location in Elymia. With this update, Gatheryn is bringing the fun and entertainment of casual minigames and integrating them into a virtual world to give players a personal and customizable casual gaming experience unlike any other. The Casual Games Update is now live, and more registered users are being let into the world of Gatheryn on a regular basis. Users can register for their chance to participate at www.Gatheryn.com.

"Launching the Casual Games Update is a huge step for us because we get to implement our most ambitious casual games projects to date: the Minigame Pavilion and Word Safari," said Isa Anne Stamos, Game Studio Director at MindFuse Games. "We’re working hard to release the next update and are very confident that with these new additions, Gatheryn is on its way to becoming the vibrant casual gaming experience we hoped to create."

The Minigame Pavilion gives new players a chance to play the highly-engaging minigames of Gatheryn the minute they log in. The casual experiences in the Minigame Pavilion do not cost silver to play, nor do they award silver, but they do allow the player to find which minigames they enjoy the most so that they may pursue that game further to earn profit, or even begin a career.

Word Safari is a very unique minigame in the world of Gatheryn. Players find Word Search Objects throughout the Island of Elymia and simply click the object to begin playing. Word Safari challenges players’ vocabulary and helps them learn about the unique areas scattered around the world of Gatheryn.
