VOLOGDA – February 15, 2010 – Playrix® Entertainment, a top-tier casual games developer and publisher, tallied up the numbers in the first European retail reports on its hit game Gardenscapes™ and finds the results impressive. German-speaking countries seem to lead the way.
At the moment, box copies of Gardenscapes™ can be found on the shelves of retail outlets of Benelux, GAS (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and CIS. France, UK and USA are to follow in summer 2010. Playrix’s retail partners in GAS are extremely pleased with Gardenscapes™ performance. During the first month since its launch in GAS the game demonstrated sales dynamics better than many other titles, including those from Playrix, and the numbers grow every day. Benelux sales are almost as promising: Gardenscapes™ Q4 report shows more sales than any other Playrix game.

Gardenscapes™ is a mix of three different genres: hidden object, time management and sim. Players earn cash as they progress through hidden object levels and spend it to buy garden accessories to customize the garden to their taste and compete in the “Best Garden” contest.
