GamingOS

"Revolutionary, scalable" system for running online tournaments.

CTXM announces that it has completed the development of its revolutionary scalable multi-user playing platform GamingOS. The new platform is targeted to sites wishing to provide “social gaming network” capabilities as well as to on-line gambling operators which would like to provide their clients with the WEB 2.0 experience.

GamingOS blends features of modern console gaming networks with web based Flash games. It enables multiplayer matches, co-op functionality and single player games within the same platform and supports awards and leader boards functionalities in the form of the unique online Web Operating System-like based on Flash™ technology.

Gaming OS management system allows operators to easily create and manage recurring tournaments. GamingOS provides multi-gaming interface that allows playing several card and board turn-based games at the same time.

Each game based on Gaming OS has its own gaming room with various types of tables – single-player, multiplayer, public, VIP. It allows players to join a game during the active game session.

The “Game Browser” is the heart of GamingOS. It lists all the games offered to the player and marks opportunity to play single player, multiplayer, get additional information or get downloadable versions of available games.

GamingOS is open to integration of 3rd parties games in addition to CTXM casual and casino games.

The platform allows the following features for registered players: access to profile, changing avatars, monitoring leader board and award standings. Players can chat, add other players to their buddy lists and challenge people in multiplayer matches. The client-server protocol features both high performance RTMP protocol (socket-based connectivity) and HTTP port 80 fallback solution for players behind proxies or firewalls.

GamingOS core module provides in-game advertising such as various pre-rolls (e.g. video), ads in-between rounds and supports integration to Flash ad networks like MochiAds. It allows development of dedicated game content management systems.
