GAMEVIL USA update

"Rising trend" of BlackBerry and Windows Mobile gaming noted.

Los Angeles, California--April 11, 2008--BlackBerrys and Windows Mobile devices are beginning to enter the consumer market, and users of these devices are just as interested in playing games. But as mobile game publishers are realizing this, GAMEVIL USA, the LA-based mobile games publisher, is already on top of its game. Having launched around 10 titles on these devices, the publisher plans on continuing its support of BlackBerrys and Windows Mobile in the future, especially as these handhelds become more popular among a casual crowd.

GAMEVIL began supporting these devices in early 2007 with the goal to provide as many mobile users as possible the opportunity to play games. Not only do BlackBerrys and Windows Mobile devices have features such as larger screens and easier keypad maneuvering that enhance the mobile gaming experience, but they are also becoming more consumer friendly. No longer are they considered only for business professionals as more casual users, a core group of mobile game purchasers, switch to them. But even working professionals themselves have downloaded and played mobile games on these handhelds. Already knowing that BlackBerry and Windows Mobile users would also like some form of entertainment, GAMEVIL brought its popular games to a majority of these devices early last year, and continues to do so with titles such as its top selling Baseball Superstars 2008 and multiplayer RPG, Path of a Warrior: Imperial Blood.

“We want to cover as many devices as possible to give everyone the chance to enjoy games on the mobile platform,” said Stephanie Huang, Marketing Manager of GAMEVIL USA, Inc. “Right now, the market is changing as BlackBerrys and Windows Mobile devices are becoming more popular among the end users. This new, rising trend is worthy of attention, especially since users of these handhelds are just as interested in playing games. That is why we will continuously support these devices in the future.”
