GameShadow appoints Nicholas Lovell as non-executive director

Nicholas Lovell, founding director of games industry financial and strategic advisory firm Lodestar Partners, has been appointed as non-executive director of GameShadow.

GameShadow is a young firm which offers an innovative patching and content delivery service for PC games, partnering with publishers, developers and hardware firms to ensure that customers' PCs are always kept up to date with the latest drivers and game versions.

"GameShadow is an exciting company with an exceptionally high-quality software product that removes the pain from being a PC gamer," Lovell commented following his appointment at the firm.

"The future potential for the product, moving towards digital distribution of premium content, is even more exciting," he continued. "I am very pleased to be associated with such a dynamic business and look forward to helping it develop into a global and highly successful participant in the games industry."
