GamesAid to host charity poker game

Texas Hold'Em tournament will take place during the Develop conference and will raise money for the charity

GamesAid has announced it is accepting sign-ups to its charity poker game, set to take place on July 29 at the Grosvenor Casino, Brighton.

Timed to coincide with the Develop conference, the aim of the tournament is to raise money for the charity but players will be eligible to win a GBP 500 cash prize for coming first place.

Entrants will be charged a fee of GBP 50 to take part in the Texas Hold'Em game with some of the industry's most senior figures.

GamesAid is a UK-based videogames industry charity, which distributes funds to a diverse range of - predominantly children's - charities, more information about the event can be found on the group's website.
